The old adage is true: an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. That’s why we encourage all owners to have our HVAC service technicians perform preventative maintenance utilizing one of our prepaid plans. These plans are a flat rate instead of an hourly charge.

When to schedule maintenance:

If your system heats and cools your home:
Perform maintenance in the spring and fall.

Cooling-only:
Perform maintenance once a year, before the cooling season.

Heating-only:
Perform maintenance once a year, before the heating season.

COMBINATION HEAT AND AIR CONDITIONING INSPECTION LABOR ONLY

This agreement includes a 15 point check biannually. Any additional labor or any parts (filters, belts etc.)
needed will be charged to the customer and payable at the time service and repairs have been made.

AIR CONDITIONING 15 POINT PRECISION TUNE UP

  1. Install gauges and check operating pressures.
  2. Check all voltage and amperage to all motors with meter.
  3. Check air temperature drop across evaporator.
  4. Check refrigerant charge.
  5. Lubricate all moving parts.
  6. Check belt and adjust tension.
  7. Inspect or wash air filters if needed.
  8. Check pressure switch cut-out settings.
  9. Check electrical lock our circuits.
  10. Check starting contractor contacts.
  11. Check all wiring and connections.
  12. Clean and adjust thermostat.
  13. Check air temperature across condenser.
  14. Check that condensation drain is open.
  15. Inspect and clean (extra charge) condenser coils.

HEATING 15 POINT PRECISION TUNE UP

  1. Check safety controls.
  2. Check fan controls.
  3. Check thermostat operation.
  4. Check heat exchanger.
  5. Check and adjust fan belt. (Replace if necessary.)
  6. Check limit control.
  7. Check amps and voltage of motors.
  8. Check and lubricate blower motor.
  9. Check air filter. (Replace if necessary.)
  10. Check all wiring connections.
  11. Check and lubricate blower bearings.
  12. Check heat relays.
  13. Check amps of electric heat elements.
  14. Check reversing valve. (Heat pumps)

*New Agreement accepted upon inspection of equipment & belts and filters must be kept at owner’s residence or business.

*This is a biannual inspection only. If your unit fails during this agreement period, there will be a service charge for repairs, however, you will receive a 10% discount on all service calls.

*System maintenance by Duncklee, Inc. is required annually to continue your warranty.
