Mitsubishi Ductless Mini Split Heat Pump
HERE’S HOW IT WORKS:
Mitsubishi ductless systems pump cooled or heated refrigerant directly to wall or ceiling-mounted air-handling unit, and each unit has its own wireless electronic temperature control system Here’s how the system works in a single room application.
Indoor Unit uses refrigerant to cool or heat air and quietly streams it where you need it in the living room space.
Refrigerant and Electric Lines connect the two units through a small, 3″ opening in the wall.
Outdoor Unit has an inverter driven heat pump that cools or warms refrigerant and sends it inside to an air handler through small lines.
YOU CAN HEAT AND COOL A SINGLE ZONE OR MULTIPLE ZONES, BUT WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE?
Single Zone
Perfect for additions, basements, sunrooms or any other space that offers comfort challenges.
This is the perfect application for those homes with specific rooms or zones that are more difficult to keep warm or cool than the rest of the house. Some of these areas include room additions, home offices, bedrooms, attics, you name it. Multi-Zone
Keep all the rooms of a house at maximum, individualized comfort levels without all the ductwork.
Unlike the single zone application, multi-zone is capable of keeping your entire home or multiple zones comfortable. This configuration also allows you to control each zone from a central location, thus allowing you to only heat and cool the zones you want to use.
