AC UNIT SERVICE PLAN 2
The old adage is true: an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. That’s why we encourage all owners to have our HVAC service technicians perform preventative maintenance utilizing one of our prepaid plans. These plans are a flat rate instead of an hourly charge.
When to schedule maintenance:
If your system heats and cools your home:
Perform maintenance in the spring and fall.
Cooling-only:
Perform maintenance once a year, before the cooling season.
Heating-only:
Perform maintenance once a year, before the heating season.
AIR CONDITIONING PARTS AND LABOR AGREEMENT (FROM MAY 1ST THRU OCTOBER 1ST)
This agreement includes the 15 point check plus any service needed during NORMAL WORKING HOURS including repair or replacement of the following parts at no additional charge.

15 POINT PRECISION TUNE UP
- Install gauges and check operating pressures.
- Check all voltage and amperage to all motors with meter.
- Check air temperature drop across evaporator.
- Check refrigerant charge.
- Lubricate all moving parts.
- Check belt and adjust tension.
- Inspect or wash air filters if needed.
- Check pressure switch cut-out settings.
- Check electrical lock our circuits.
- Check starting contractor contacts.
- Check all wiring and connections.
- Clean and adjust thermostat.
- Check air temperature across condenser.
- Check that condensation drain is open.
- Inspect and clean (extra charge) condenser coils.
** The compressor will be replaced at no additional cost when covered by manufacturers 5 year warranty. When out of warranty you will only be charged for the cost of the compressor and miscellaneous installation materials, however, all labor will be at no additional charge. (Heat pump compressors not included.)
LABOR RATES
PLAN II covers all labor during normal weekday business hours (8:00-4:30 M-F). Overtime labor rate with PLAN II will be billed at time and a half. Work not covered under Service Agreement inspection will be our normal rates.
*New Agreement accepted upon inspection of equipment & belts and filters must be kept at owner’s residence or business.
*This is a one-time inspection only. If your unit fails during this agreement period, there may be a service charge for repairs, however, you will receive a 10% discount on all service calls.
*System maintenance by Duncklee, Inc. is required annually to continue your warranty.
