Stonington, CT – First selectman Ed Haberek, Jr. recently recognized Duncklee Inc. Cooling and Heating with an official citation for 35 years of excellent and dedicated service to its New England customers. Jonathan Duncklee, vice president, represented the company at the ceremony.

The Stonington, CT family-owned business was officially incorporated as L.H. Duncklee Refrigeration, Inc. on April 23, 1973, and operated out of the home of its founder and president, Les Duncklee, In Pawcatuck, CT.

The company has celebrated continued growth during the past three decades, demonstrated by the expansion of its headquarters and staff. In the fall of 1999, Duncklee Inc. moved to 296 Taugwonk Road in Stonington, renovating and expanding its facility to 6400 square feet on three acres of land.
