Out of more than 400 contractors who participate in the program, Jonathan Duncklee, President of Duncklee Cooling & Heating Inc. received a Top Performer award from the Connecticut Green Bank February 2020 in Rocky Hill, CT at the Connecticut Green Bank Headquarters.
Duncklee and the CT Green bank teamed up with CorePlus Credit Union and Capital for Change, Inc. to offer consumers super-efficient heating and cooling systems with extremely low interest financing.
Top Performers helped over 300 Connecticut families make home energy improvements – allowing them to save money, reduce their carbon footprint, and live more comfortably in their homes.
This alliance helps the State of Connecticut work towards meeting its climate change plan, which focuses on three mitigation wedges: de-carbonizing electricity generation, de-carbonizing transportation, and de-carbonizing buildings.
Connecticut Green Bank is the nation’s first green bank. Its focus is to “achieve cleaner, less expensive, and more reliable sources of energy while creating jobs and supporting local economic development”.
